Last weekend, James and Owen’s two-year-old birthday party gave us a little taste of what is to come. Lanie and Richard worked really hard to pull off one of the most impressive birthday parties I have ever seen. I wish we had gotten more pictures of the set-up, but there were life-sized Sesame Street characters all over their backyard, as well as all sorts of games and snacks with the Sesame Street theme. Even the cupcakes were made to look like Elmo and Cookie Monster.
James and Owen were definitely kings for the day. It seems like just yesterday that Molly and I were driving to the hospital to see them for the first time.
