We strategically waited until about 8:00pm to walk over to Enology so that Mary Grace would fall asleep and dream her way through the evening, but she was apparently just as excited as we were and had no intention of sleeping. She managed to stay awake the entire time we were there, playing with her toys and watching us drink wine and talk. In fact, she actually seemed like she was having a good time. She never cried or fussed, and smiled at everyone who came up to say hello.
The wine bar was great, so we are very glad to have it in the neighborhood. All of the wines are domestic, and each one gets paired with a cheese to enhance the flavor. We ordered a few flights (generously poured) before deciding on a bottle, and then ordered a slew of small plates to go along with the wine. We felt a little bit better about having Mary Grace with us when we saw other couples walk in with babies even later into the evening, so we probably lingered around a little too long. As we were walking home, Mary Grace finally dozed off for the night, and we all slept fairly late the next morning.

Other happenings include our good buddy Sean Carroll coming into town for the NMS cookout. Mary Grace enjoyed seeing Sean again, and we all enjoyed some good ribs courtesy of our boss Sam.
